VBDL SCHEDULES CATALOG UPGRADE
DECATUR, MICHIGAN – – – – – Software updates are a fact of life. While sometimes annoying and a bit disruptive, they are a necessary task in order to add new features, fix problems or remove outdated features.
Van Buren District Library is scheduled to undergo an unavoidable software update beginning Friday, July 12, 5:00pm, through Monday, July 15, 9:00am.
During this time, the library’s catalog will not be available for checking items in or out, placing holds, renewing materials or searching for items.
“The library’s online catalog is scheduled to undergo a necessary upgrade,” Library Director Dan Hutchins says. “We understand this means some inconvenience for our patrons, however, the upgrade will enhance our catalog’s functionality by correcting issues brought to our attention by our customers.”
All VBDL locations remain open during the upgrade. For more information phone 269.423.4771, email info@vbdl.org, or stop by the nearest VBDL location.
Van Buren District Library is headquartered in Decatur with branches in Bangor, Bloomingdale, Covert, Gobles, Lawrence and Mattawan.
