If laughter is really the best medicine, then Ellen DeGeneres, Jenny Lawson and Mindy Kaling ought to have M.D. after their names. Each of these women has written books that are full of laugh out loud moments. And it’s not just one guffaw every dozen pages, oh no. In some cases it’s a dozen guffaws on one page. Lawson’s first book, Let’s Pretend This Never Happened has several pages that had me laughing so hard I had to set the book down and catch my breath before I could go on. These are books that, if you read them in public, people might glance at you, wondering what’s so funny.
As we approach the cold, dark days of winter, keep in mind that any titles by these women, as well as those by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, may be the perfect antidote to yet another 2-day snowstorm.[/fusion_text][/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
